Services for Bersie Scroggins, 56, of Kingsburg, will be held at noon Wednesday at the Kingsburg United Methodist Church. Mrs. Scroggins, a homemaker, died Friday. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Creighton Memorial Chapel. Remembrances may be sent to the American Cancer Society.

MADERA - Graveside services for Bob Scroggins, 49, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
Mr. Scroggins died Sunday.
He was a truck driver for Cherokee Trucking.
Surviving are his wife, Lorretta; three sons, Bruce Scroggins of Merced, Brian Scroggins of Hanford and David Clark of Madera; four daughters, Tammy Davis and Melissa Clark Scroggins, both of Madera, Lorretta Pek of Arizona and Shari Scroggins of Missouri; mother, Daisy Scroggins of Madera; four brothers, Ray and Ron, both of Madera, John of Clovis and Bill of Oakhurst; three sisters, Betty Scroggins and Lucille Lara, both of Madera, and Kay Ernat of Palm Springs; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at Jay Chapel in Madera.

Mary Louise (Raven) Scruggins, 88, widow of Mr. Taft "Chief" Scruggins, died at 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2008 in the Cherokee County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, in the Memory Chapel of The Arnold Moore Funeral Residence. Pastor G. Avery Scruggins, her grandson, and the Rev. Dale Nielsen will be the officiants. Committal prayers and interment will be directed in the Silver Lake Cemetery by The Arnold Moore Funeral Service.
Mrs. Scruggins will lie in state in the Drawing Rooms of The Arnold Moore Funeral Residence where family and friends may call for their visitation until the service hour.
An Oklahoma native, Mary Louise Raven was born March 12, 1919 at Fish Creek, near Bartlesville, in Washington County. She was the daughter of John L. Raven and Lucinda (White) Raven. She was reared and completed her education in the Dewey Public Schools. She was united in marriage to Taft "Chief" Scruggins on December 20, 1935 at Pawhuska, Oklahoma and they established their first home in Bartlesville. Mary was a homemaker and Mr. Scruggins was an employee of the Phillips Petroleum Company and later became active in industrial iron construction which took them to various parts of the United States. They moved to the Grove, Oklahoma community in 1972. Mr. Scruggins preceded her in death on May 18, 1991 in Grove and she remained a resident of Grove living in retirement. She had recently moved to Tahlequah to be near family.
Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, John C. and Bette Scruggins of Tahlequah; three grandchildren, Jonna S. Burkett and husband, Justin; Bradley C. Scruggins, G. Avery Scruggins and wife, Kelly; six great grandchildren, Tory Raven Walton, Kazmira Kalain Lowry and Britney Mariah Scruggins; Natashsia Marie Finn, Jennifer Robin Chanate and Cage Avery Scruggins; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband and father and mother, five sisters, Edna Pratt, Sue Schmidt, Cecile Schmidt, Gatsey Bowker, and Irene Gable; and two brothers, Pete Edwin Raven and James "Jimmy" Leroy Raven, preceded her in death.

GLASGOW - Ruby Beals Bradford, 95, of Glasgow died Feb. 15, 2006, at a Glasgow nursing home.
The Cave City native was a homemaker and a member of South Green Street Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late William T. Proffitt and Amanda Thomas Proffitt and the wife of the late Roy Bradford.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Friday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and Friday until time for services at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Alan Beals and his wife, Ernestine, of Glasgow; a daughter, Georgia Beth Albany of Glasgow; a sister, Annie Williams of Franklin, Ind.; five grandchildren, Alan Lynn Beals, Timothy Neal Beals and Jeffrey Carroll Beals, all of Glasgow, Dani Lott of Little Rock, Ark., and Billie Scroggins of Montgomery, Ala.; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. William Calvin Campbell, Sr. suddenly passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the age of 72 years. He was born on January 4, 1936 to Hosey Campbell, Sr. and Josephine Germany in Union Springs, AL.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, William Jr. and Trudy Campbell, Bibbin and Michelle Campbell, Walter and Michelle Campbell; two daughters, Luven and Reginald West and Shawanda and David Scroggins; 24 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Hosey and Dorthy Campbell; one sister, Mattie Ellis of Union Spring, AL; a former son-in-law, Hugh Brown, Sr., Tommy Green, two very special nieces, Felicia Rincher, Sandra Campbell other relatives and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Campbell, his parents; three sisters, Idella Fort, Louise and Delphine Youngblood; three nephews, Frederick Fort, Samuel Fort, Jr. and Anthony Fort.

BUENA VISTA - Terrence Richard Davlin, 77, of 53 Ox Road, formerly of the Houston/Galveston, Texas, area, died Monday (Jan. 1, 2001) at Shenandoah Valley Health Care Center.
He was born Feb. 19, 1923, at Houston, a son of James and Agnes (Overley) Davlin.
He was a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents a brother, James O. Davlin and two sisters, Catherine Dial and Dorothy Briggs.
Survivors include his wife, Virgie Davlin two sons, Terrence Richard Davlin II of Houston and James Pool of Jupiter, Texas three daughters, Mary K. Angel of Galena Park, Texas, Peggy Light of Irving, Texas and Denise Scroggins of Stuarts Draft a brother, Eli Davlin of Austin, Texas a sister, Pat Meyer of Peoria, Ill. 17 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
By his request his body was cremated and there will be no funeral services.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., Shenandoah Chapter, 284 E. Water St., Harrisonburg VA 22801.

Michael Feldmeier of Broadway was best man.
Lyndon Joiner of Harrisonburg and Christopher Feldmeier of Broadway were groomsmen.
Julia, Dakota and Danielle Scroggins of Japan were flower girls.
Austin Lam of Mount Solon was ringbearer.
The bride graduated from Fort Defiance High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Eastern Mennonite University. She is an operating room coordinator at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
The groom graduated from Broadway High School. He works in environmental services at RMH.
After a honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple reside in Weyers Cave.
