Huey Clint Hightower, 87, died at 9:30 a.m. May 14, 2005, at his residence. The Warren County native was a carpenter for Goodrum and Lentz, a graduate of Richardsville High School and a Baptist. He was a son of the late William Luther Hightower and Mary Margaret Scroggins Hightower. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Edward and Dock S. Hightower; and three sisters, Mabel Milam, Eva Phelps and Lottie Hazel.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby

The Warren County native was a carpenter for Goodrum and Lentz, a graduate of Richardsville High School and a Baptist. He was a son of the late William Luther Hightower and Mary Margaret Scroggins Hightower. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Edward and Dock S. Hightower; and three sisters, Mabel Milam, Eva Phelps and Lottie Hazel.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Loberta Hanes Hightower; two daughters, Patty Whittaker and Dorothy Pendleton and her husband, James, all of Bowling Green; a son, Butch Hightower and his wife, Diane, of Scottsville; five grandchildren, Jimmy Pendleton, Johnna Crabtree, Tommy Whitaker, Katina McCoy and Tammy Perkins; 12 great-grandchildren, Travis, Trent, Trevor, Trinity, Tristan, Holly, Kody, Keyton, Connor, Nathan, Kolton and Gracie; two great-great grandchildren, Ethan and Max, and several nieces, nephews, great-neices and great-nephews.
