CENTRAL CITY - Patsy Jo Griffin, 68, of Central City, died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 6:20AM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Griffin was born November 22, 1943 in Wilder, TN. She was a homemaker and member of Lifeway General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter [30067:J] and Beulah Scroggins [47309:J]; and a daughter, Tracy Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Wendell Griffin; daughters Tresia Griffin [fb] and Tammy [fb] (Brian [fb] ) McElwain, both of Central City; grandchildren Eric Littlefield [fb], Nickie Hendrix, Dustin [fb] (Erica) [fb] Jones, Jordan McElwain [fb], Trace McElwain [fb], and Noah McElwain [fb]; great-grandchildren Corey Jones and Maci Hendrix; sisters Barbara Medley [47397:J] of Tennessee and Peggy Merrill [47308:J]of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Brian McElwain officiating, assisted by Rev. Robert Pierce. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home.
