Naomi was born in Redding on November 25, 1933 to parents William Curran and Leila Terrill. She passed away on January 12, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, granny and GG. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years Jerry Whitcher. She is also preceded by brother Kirk Curran and sister Shirley Rockwell.
Naomi is survived by her sister, Sharon Albert, children and spouses: Diane and Jay Neil, Michael Barney and TJ Hall, Shirlee and David Ebster: Jerrry Whitcher Jr. and Naomi Scroggins. Grandchildren Jeremy Whipple, Sarah Fox, Schuyler Stevens, Ross Ebster and Ian Whitcher. Great-grandchildren Skylar, Bella, Gavin and Ava Fox.
Naomi also leaves behind Jerry Barnett, loving companion of nine years and many other special nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Dear Mom, Gran, GG, You will be forever loved and missed...until we meet again.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. at New Life Church of God, 223-1946, 10582 Old Oregon Trail, Redding, CA.
