Bettye Lou Bradley, 66, of Ansley died July 4, 2009, at the Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the First Christian Church in Ansley with the Rev. Mel Shepherd officiating. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Interment will be in the Merna Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family.

Bettye Lou Bradley was born Feb. 27, 1943, in Strong City, Okla., to Ab and Opal (Blakley) Hendershot. She grew up in Strong City and received her education there. She married Joe Bradley on May 30, 1959, in Strong City, Okla. They made their home in Cheyenne, Okla. Before moving to a ranch near Brewster in 1987 then later moved to Ansley in 1991 where they made their home until her death.

Bettye loved her grandkids and enjoyed their sporting events. Whatever they were doing that's where she wanted to be. She loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and riding horses.

Bettye is survived by her husband, Joe Bradley Sr. of Ansley; two daughters, Terrie Seitsinger of Merna and Tammie (Brad) Kaelin of Broken Bow; three sons, Joe Bradley Jr. of Ansley, Jimy Bradley of Merna and Justin (Tracey) Bradley of Brewster; 11 grandchildren Josey, Cody, Shelbie, Denton, Tyler, Karissa, Ty, David, Blayne, J.T. and Zack; two great-grandchildren, Leslee Jo and Brennan; one sister, Frances Scroggins of Strong City, Okla.; and one brother, Jene (Jaunita) Hendershot of Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Chancey; three brothers, Jack, Jim and Johnny; and one sister, Ann.

ANSLEY � Bettye Lou Bradley, 66, of Ansley died Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow.

Survivors of the immediate family include her husband, Joe Bradley Sr.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Terrie Seitsinger of Merna and Tammie and Brad Kaelin of Broken Bow; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Joe Bradley Jr. of Ansley, Jimy Bradley of Merna, and Justin and Tracey Bradley of Brewster; a brother and sister-in-law, Jene and Jaunita Hendershot of Houston; and a sister, Frances Scroggins of Strong City, Okla.
