Nancy Ellen Rogers, 70, of Bartlesville, died at 9:08 P.M. Thursday at her home following an extended illness.
Funeral services for Nancy will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Bryan Chapel Cemetery at Boatman, Oklahoma. Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Nancy was born on October 31, 1937 at Salina, Oklahoma to Ada Pearl (Marlow) and Fay H. Garner. She grew up and received her education in the Salina area prior to coming to the Bartlesville area to make her home in the mid 1960's. She was employed at various locations as a cashier and waitress, such as BestYet, Holiday Inn, Louie's IGA Grocery in Dewey, Jack's Caf/, the American Legion, and prior to her retirement was a bakery clerk at Albertson's. Her greatest accomplishment was raising four great children on her own.
Survivors include two sons, Marion Festus Williams, Jr. and his wife, Marlene of San Diego, California and Lloyd Dwayne Williams and his wife, Lori of Tulsa, two daughters, Mary L. Cooper and Paula Jean Williams both of Bartlesville, three sisters, Ardena Scroggins and her husband, Corky of Bartlesville, Thelma M. Cook of Bakersfield, California, and Louise Land of Grand Prairie, Texas, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews including Donna and Larry Scroggins and her cat, Mr. B.W. Pepper. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Edith Coker in 1989.
