FAYETTEVILLE - Funeral service for Jimmy Ray Gentry, 73, will be Saturday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Joe Kelley and the Rev. Len Blanchard officiating. Interment will be at Fayetteville Methodist Cemetery. Mr. Gentry died Thursday, June 14, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Gentry of Fayetteville; daughters, Lynda Blanchard and husband Len of Marietta, Ga., Debra Butler and husband John, Sheila Taylor and husband Joe, and Sandra Stone and husband Mike, all of Sylacauga; step-children, David Rogers and wife Lynn of Sylacauga, Steve Rogers and wife Penny of Sylacauga, Karen Kelley and husband Joe of Talladega Springs, Celeste Stone of Sylacauga, and Ronnie Rogers and wife Nanci of Forest Park, Ga.; brothers, Lonny Gentry of McIntosh, Ala., Hubert Gentry and Phillip Gentry, both of Sylacauga; sisters, Geneva Scroggins of Eastaboga and Jeanette Reynolds of Talladega; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bobby Taylor, Scott Kelley, Brian Kelley, Chris Rogers, Michael Johnson, and Roger Morris. Radney-Smith Funeral Home will direct the service.
