Obituary - Springfield (Illinois) State Journal, 17 November 1899
Turley - Died, at 7:55 o'clock Thursday night, Nov. 16, 1899, at the family
residence, four miles east of the city, Mrs. Eliza Jane Turley, aged 59 years.
Mrs. Turley was an old resident of Sangamon County and enjoyed the
acquaintance of a large circle of friends. She was the wife of H. D. Turley.
The time of the funeral will be announced later.

Turley - The funeral of the late Mrs. H. D. Turley will be held at 10
o'clock Sunday morning at the residence, four miles east of the city. The
interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Turley is survived by her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Fred
Rentschler, Dawson; Mrs. Rufus Belt, Barclay; Mrs. Burt Stevens,
Springfield; Mrs. Margaret Chole and Bessie Turley, residing at home; three
sons, Charles, Ernest, and Frank; her father; and two sisters.
