Virginia L. Scroggin a former longtime resident of Wheaton Visitation for Virginia L. Scroggin, 53, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Michael Cemetery, Wheaton. Born May 2, 1952, she died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Bloomingdale Pavillion in Bloomingdale, after a long illness. Virginia grew up in Wheaton, where she attended the public schools and graduated from Wheaton North High School in 1970. She worked for 20 years as an operator for Illinois Bell. She is survived by her children, Neil A. Scroggin of St. Charles and April A. (George) Bobik of Bartlett; grandchildren, Emily Bobik, Rebecca Bobik and Forrest Scroggin; her father, Kenneth Cornelius; and former husband, Melvin Scroggin.
