BENJAMIN, KENNETH DELOSS Funeral for Kenneth Deloss Benjamin, 87, of Birmingham, AL, who died March 10, 2006 with his family by his side, will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2006 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with Rev. Rick Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. A native of Rockford, IL, Mr. Benjamin lived in Birmingham most of his life. He was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church and Faith Sunday School Class. He retired from Union Oil Company after 39 years of service and was a veteran of the US Army WWII. Also, he was a member of The Stockholm Masonic Lodge #828. Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Louise Scroggins Benjamin; son, Kenneth D. (Lisa) Benjamin of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Pamela Gail Benjamin of Childersburg, AL; grandson, Jacob Benjamin and grand daughter, Jordan Benjamin both of Colorado Springs, CO.
