Charles Hudnall, 63, was born on June 5, 1946, in Gilmer, TX, to Elwyn and Leena Faye Hudnall. He passed away in Oklahoma City, on June 15, 2009. Charles was retired from the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Leena Faye Hudnall-Ellison and Elwyn Hudnall, stepmother Elsie Hudnall, grandmother Jewell Hudnall-Moore, Charles was survived by wife Katherine R Hudnall, son John A Hudnall, daughters Tammy Hudnall Brondsema and Kimberly Hudnall, brother Thomas Ellison, sisters Pam Scroggins, Linda Ellison, and Barbara Ellison, four grandchildren Alan Brondsema, Danielle Brondsema, Sydney Brondsema, and Elizabeth Brondsema, brother-in-law and wife James and Bettie Gray, sister-in-law and husband Susan and Bill Odom, and a father and mother-in-law Delwin and Viola Gray. A funeral service will be conducted, under the direction of Ford Funeral Service, at Ft. Sill National Cemetery Friday at 1 pm. James E. Valdez 
James E. "Jim" Valdez, age 69, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1962, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was retired from the United States Civil Service at the United States Air Force Academy and in his retirement years, worked for Enterprise Rent a Car. Jim was born on May 16, 1940 in San Luis, Colorado to the late Felipe and Estella (Sanchez) Valdez. He married Ruth Vialpando on July 29, 1962 in San Luis. He enjoyed football, baseball, fishing and working, but he especially enjoyed his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; two daughters: Lori (Kenneth) Scroggins and Karen Valdez, all of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by four brothers: Paul Valdez of Alamosa, Del (wife, Marie) Valdez of Grand Prairie, Texas; Larry (wife, Martha) Valdez of Parker, Colorado; Anthony (wife, Linda) Valdez of Albuquerque, New Mexico and his sister, Clorinda (husband, Eppie) Ortega of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jennifer and and Connor Scroggins; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6 - 7 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. A Rosary service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m. in the Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Southgate, 1830 South Corona Avenue, Colorado Springs. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Colorado Springs. Blessed be his memory.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion, IL. Burial will be at Marrowbone Township Cemetery, Bethany, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion. Masonic rites will be accorded at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Michel's whole purpose of living was his beautiful wife, Lori (Jarvis) Cowger; his children, Samuel (9), Jacob (6), and Elizabeth (2), all of Mt. Zion, IL; his mother, Rosalea Cowger; his father, Michel L. Olivia was married to the late Amado Delgado, Jr. She was a loving and dedicated mother who in her youth enjoyed dancing and social events. She worked in the women's retail clothing business. In her later years she enjoyed visits with her grandchildren, golf, Tampa Bay Buccaneers football, and caring for her pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and a sister, all of Tampa, FL. She is survived by her loving family who will miss her dearly including her son, Dr. Dennis G. Olivia was married to the late Amado Delgado, Jr. She was a loving mother who in her youth, enjoyed dancing and social events. She worked in the cigar and womens retail clothing business. In her later years, she enjoyed visits with her family, arts and crafts, golf, Tampa Bay Bucs football, and caring for her pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufino and Carmen Iglesias Mendez; three brothers, Armando, Anselmo, and Manolo Mendez; and a sister Mercedes "Bita" Romero, all of Tampa. She is survived by her loving family who will miss her dearly, including her son, Dr. Dennis G. Delgado (Martha); granddaughters, Deana Delgado Callison (Jim), Denise Delgado Scroggins (Bryan), and Michelle Delgado; great- granddaugher, Ava Scroggins, all of Birmingham; a niece, Carmen Putrow (Frank) of Clearwater, Fla.; and a grandnephew, Michael Putrow of Tampa. Neil Geiger GEIGER Mr. Neil Geiger, a Native of Clay County, and loyal University of Florida Gator, died, Friday, June 12, 2009 at Penney Farms Retirement Center, Penney Farms, Florida. He was born October 31, 1926 in Green Cove Springs, FL to clay county pioneer family ,G. W. (Judge) and the former Eula Strode Geiger. Neil Graduated from the Sarasota High School class of 1944, and enlisted in the United States Navy. World War II ended, and Neil went to the University of Florida, and graduated in 1950. He began his career with the Sargent & Company for the next 20 years. Neil started his own Builders Hardware distributorship, and named it Ironmonger, Inc. His extremely successful company served the southern portion of Florida for more that 20 years. Neil married the former Elsbeth Johnson from Green Cove Springs in 1952. Their children are Lynn [39524] (Jeff) [39525] Scroggin, of Roswell, GA, and Philip Neil, Jr., (Liz) of Charlottesville, VA. The five grandchildren are: John [39526], Julie [29527], and Justin [39528] Scroggin, and Martin and Helen Geiger. Mr. Geiger was a longtime member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and the UF Grand Guard, Kiwanis International, and the Orange Park United Methodist Church. Neil and Elsbeth have a beautiful home and many wonderful friends in both Waynesville, N.C, and Penney Farms, FL. Graveside Funeral Services with full military honors will be held at the family burial estate in Hickory Gorve Cemetery, in Green Cove Springs, FL on Friday, June 19, 2009 10:30 AM. Francis operated the Phillips 66 Station east of Oregon, and later sold Mooreman's Feed. He also operated bars/restaurants in Oregon before purchasing The Mint in Forest City in 1988. He continued to operate The Mint, and also owned Skidmore Food and Drink.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard [32283] and Berneta (Barrett) [32302] Scroggins.

Services have been held.
Louise Jones was born Dec. 3, 1926, in Pleasant Hope, Mo., a daughter of Rollo [7225] and Erma (Flanagan) [7229] Scroggins.
She was raised on the family farm near Bolivar, Mo., and graduated from Bolivar High School in 1944. There was a shortage of teachers because of World War II and the school board asked her to teach at Southwest Baptist College. In 1944 she taught and spent summers attending college. In 1947 she began school full time and graduated in 1949 with a bachelor's and a lifetime teaching certificate. She moved to Richland, Wash., to teach, and traveled to Alaska to attend summer school. She also participated in summer mission programs.
She married Warren Jones [48991], June 5, 1954, and they came to Oregon that summer.
She taught both full time and as a substitute and worked for Tektronix.
A member of Hillsboro Presbyterian Church, she also volunteered with Tuality Hospital in Hillsboro and Meals on Wheels.
She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, baking, sewing and attending her grandchildren's activities.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kristy [48992] and Mike Jones [48993]; brothers, Larry [48994], Lee [7503] and Loy [48995] Scroggins; and a grandson and two granddaughters.

Don E. Scroggins PLATTSBURGH — Mr. Don E. Scroggins, 67, of Monty Street, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Ettowah, Tenn., Nov. 27, 1941, son of James [26682] and Evelyn (Burnette) Scroggins [26800].
Don served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He cooked for the Knights of Columbus Council 255 in Plattsburgh for many years, retiring due to his health. Don was well known for putting on many delicious meals. He was a member of the American Legion Post 20 and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 125, where he served as Quartermaster for several years.
Don is survived by his wife, the former Sharon Premore [48726] , whom he married Aug. 8, 1964, at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh; one son, John M. Scroggins [] of Plattsburgh; one daughter, Katherine Young [] and her husband Neil of West Chazy; one precious grandson, Hunter Young of West Chazy; two brothers, James R. Scroggins [26806] and his wife Priscilla [27000] of Melbourne, J. David Scroggins [26802] and his wife Suzanne [48727] of Warrensburg; two sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Brown [26803] and her husband Collin [26998] of Plattsburgh, Margaret "Cricket" Terry [26804] and her husband Donald [26999] of Plattsburgh; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father, James R. Scroggins 26682]; and one brother, Stanley E. Scroggins [26807].
At Don's request, there will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Donations in Don's memory may be made to the FitzPatrick Cancer Center in Plattsburgh.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court St., Plattsburgh.
The Scroggins family wants to extend their sincere gratitude to the R5 Staff at CVPH Medical Center.

Doris N. Lalla, 70, of Lee's Summit, Mo., passed away on May 30, 2009, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family from a long illness. Funeral services for Mr. Howard Scroggins will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home with the Reverends Shelton Morgan and Willie Thornhill officiating. Howard Scroggins, a heavy equipment mechanic and millwright by trade, was born September 9, 1938 in Mangham, Louisiana to the late James Robert Scroggins and Cora Lee Waites Scroggins. He died Sunday, May 24, 2009 surrounded by his family at his home in Bastrop. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Myrtle Scroggins Meeks; three brothers, Robert Martin Scroggins, Allen Scroggins, James Scroggins; sister-in-law, Connie Scroggins; two brothers-in-laws, James William Bounds and Henry Jasper Meeks.
Mr. Scroggins is survived by his wife of fifty years Martha Jane Scroggins of Bastrop; three daughters, Virginia Loveday and her husband, Mike of Bastrop, Linda Etheridge and her husband, Larry of Saffell, Arkansas and their children Stuart, Ryan, Kristi, and Kevin; Doris McKithern and her husband, Stephen of Ruston, Louisiana and their children Adam and Lessie;
a son, Aubrey Scroggins and his wife, Janet of Monroe, Louisiana and their children Ashley Delhommer and her husband, John and Brandon Clark; one great-grandchild Mason Delhommer; five sisters Agnes Carter, Lois May and her husband Joe, Sue Bounds, Beatrice Nealy and her husband Don, Bertha Lou Fortune and her husband Darwin; one brother Floyd Scroggins; two sisters-in-law Mary Ruth Scroggins and Bonita Scroggins; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Mike Scroggins, Tommy Scroggins, Ronald Scroggins, Rodney Laughlin, Kenneth Laughlin, Tommy Morgan, and Alvin Wayne May.
Honorary pallbearers will be Stuart, Ryan, and Kevin Etheridge, Adam McKithern, and Brandon Clark.
The family will receive friends Monday evening May 25, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
