John Tile Scroggins, 93, of Crandall, GA, passed away November 25, 2018, at a healthcare facility in Lafayette, GA.
He was born in Bradley County, lived in Florida for several years, and
had spent the last 28 years in Murray County, GA. He was of the Baptist
faith. He was an avid sports fan, especially wrestling and NASCAR
racing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his
grandbabies and great grandbabies.
He was preceded death by his
parents, France Scroggins and Nora Etta Watts; son, Johnny Scroggins;
daughter, Deanna; great grandson, Brentley Lansing; and all of his
siblings.
He is survived by his daughters, Darlene McGill and
husband Danny of Chatsworth, GA, Teresa Goodwin and husband Faron of
Crandall, GA, and Ernestine Clem of Louisiana; son, Albert L. Jackson;
six grandchildren, Amanda Patterson and husband Drew, Amber Cole and
husband Alex, Jesse Clem, Christopher Clem and wife Ashley, and John
Clem and wife CeCe, Elizabeth Lansing; ten great grandchildren,Corbin
Patterson, Kali Paterson, Garrett Cole, Evalyn Cole, Paisley Rae Cole,
Andrew Clem, Cora Clem, Ella Clem, Loveigh Clem, and Austin Lansing; and
several nieces, nephews, and other extended family also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November
28, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor David
Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Dill Cemetery, Old Fort,
TN.
