MORRILTON - JH Allison, age 91, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018. He was born December 10, 1926 in Higden, Arkansas, a son of Chester Bryon Allison and Mayme Bailey Allison. He was an Army World War II veteran served in Germany and a cattleman. JH was a member of First United Methodist Church and was a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Scroggin Allison of Morrilton; daughter, Nancy (Doug) Allen of Conway; brother, Harold (Lenora) Allison of Morrilton; sister, Martha (Bill) Stroman of Bartlett, Tennessee; and grandson, Jordan Allen of Morrilton. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mike Allison.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 21, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Katie Pearce officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
