John M. Scroggin ANTIOCH - John M. Scroggin , 61 years old of Waukegan, IL, formerly Antioch, IL, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. He was born June 20, 1957 in Highland Park, IL the son of the late Robert and Jane (Krause) Scroggin . John worked for Abbott Laboratories for 26 years as an HVAC electrical technician; he was a hard worker and valued being a part of the Abbott family. He was a proud father of all his children, and supportive husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. Survivors include his wife, Jessica; four children, Michelle Hicks of Woodstock, IL, Amanda Pollitt of Kenosha, WI, Michael Pollitt of Dickson, TN, and Samantha Scroggin of Chicago, IL; three siblings, Robert Scroggin , Jr. of Antioch, IL, Dawn Wells of Gurnee, IL, and Donald Scroggin of Park City, IL; and three grandchildren, Donovan Chambers, Devon Hicks and Michael Pollitt. Memorial visitation will be from 1-3PM Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, 1055 Main St. (Route 83), Antioch, with a memorial service commencing at 3PM.
