Dorothy Lee Carr Flowers [54987:N], age 84, of Center Ridge, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 27, 2016. She was born April 25, 1932 in Center Ridge, Arkansas a daughter of the late Mabel Scroggins Carr [12265:N] and Jude Carr [12266:N] and Lilly Anderson Carr. [54989:N]
She is survived by her loving children; daughters: Brenda Hooten [54990:N] of Morrilton; Linda Allen [54991:N] and husband Terry [54992:N] of Center Ridge, sons: Wayne Flowers [54993:N] and wife Joclynn [54994:N] of Center Ridge, Michael Flowers [54995:N] and wife Mary [54996:N] of Formosa; Doyne Flowers [54997:N] and wife Victoria [54998:N] of Plummerville; sister, Leta Stroud [54999:N] and husband Warren [55000:N] of Conway; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, J.M. [55001:N], Alton [55002:N], Landon [55003:N] and Bob [55004:N] Carr. She will be remembered by friends and family for her deep Christian faith, love of her family, and her excellent cooking.
Visitation will be held from 6PM til 8PM Friday, October 28, 2016 at the funeral home chapel.
Services will be 10AM Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the funeral home with Gary Hill and Dee Tapp officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Center Ridge.
Pallbearers will be James Flowers, Joey Flowers, Terry Allen, Nathan Cates, Seth Cates and Joel Cates. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hayden Allen, Jesse Cates, Avery Pettingill, Trenton New and Sonny Stover IV.
