Marvin Scroggins 21080], 63, of Cabot, Arkansas, was born February 7, 1952, to Albert and Audie (Chumley) Scroggins, and he died Monday, October 12, 2015.
Marvin was a loving and caring man. He was an amazing father, husband and paw-paw. He always made time for the special people in his life, and enjoyed camping, boating and having family fun around the grill. Marvin loved his mama’s home cooking and just spending time with her. He was a maintenance engineer for Plaza West Building in Little Rock since 1984, and a United States Army Veteran who proudly served his country as an Avionics Mechanic.
He is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Sonya Scroggins [21122:M, fb]; his children, Eric Scroggins [21121:M, fb] of Lonoke and Amy [21120:M, fb]* (Zach) Bervig, grandchildren, Gage Scroggins and Alexis Bervig; his mother, Audie Scroggins 21075:M]; brothers, Tony Scroggins [21082:M], Rocky Scroggins [21100:M], David Scroggins [21102:M]; half-brother, Jack Scroggins [21084:M]; and sisters, Sabrina Taylor [21101:M, fb], Laura Andrews [21099:M], Sinda Babb [21079:M, fb]*, Peggy Burks [21081:M, fb], and Lois Scroggins [21183:M, fb].
Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Albert Scroggins, Sr.; brothers, Floyd Scroggins [21078:M], Albert Scroggins, Jr. [21076:M]; and sister, Brenda Phipps [21077:M].

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with entombment in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, a certified Veterans Care provider.
