Mr. Antone Jeffrey Scroggins, 50, of Peoria, Illinois formerly of East St. Louis, IL passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Kindred Hospital. He was born to Helen Scroggins [54838:&] on November 8, 1963 at Centerville Hospital in East St. Louis, Ilinois. Antone was preceded in death by his mother in 2013; grandparents, Melvin & NobleLee Hagler, who raised him; one sister, Sandra [31004:&] of Las Vegas and one brother Roger Wright [54846:&] of Norfolk, VA.
Antone is survived by one daughter Megan Scroggins and four grandchildren of Peoria; sisters, Carolyn (Allen) Farmer [54843:&] of Peoria, Lisa Scroggins Ward [54844:&]; formerly of Norfolf, VA, and Alicia Ross [54845:&] of Va. Beach, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
Antone attended school in E.St. Louis and Peoria. He worked at CWTC in Peoria. Throughout Antone's life he developed a Positive Spirit that allowed him to handle any problem or challenges he incountered with a smile. Although Antoine had a rough start from birth; it did not alter his spirit for life. Antone loved his 70's and 80's music. He never met anyone he didn't like. He will not only leave a big void with his family because he was the last brother; but the void will also be felt by many who cared for him.
