PEORIA -- Sondra Shyrl Scroggins , 48, of Las Vegas, Nev., a former Peoria resident, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, in Las Vegas.
She was born Aug. 7, 1949, in St. Louis to Matthew and Helen Scott Mabins.
Surviving are her mother, Helen Scott [54838:&] of the state of Virginia; three sons, DeMarco [54839:&, fb] of Peoria, and Darin [54840:&, fb] and Darvez [54841:&, fb], both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Dameion Watkins [54842:&, fb] of Peoria; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Carolyn Farmer [54843:&, fb] of Peoria, Lisa Scroggins [54844:&] of Virginia and Alicia Scott [54845:&] of the state of Tennessee; two brothers, Roger Wright [54846:&] and Antoine Scroggins [54847:&] of Virginia.
She was a hotel housekeeper.
Services were private. Hites Funeral Services in Henderson, Nev., is in charge of arrangements.

Sondra Shyrl Scroggins , 48, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 7, 1949, in Missouri. A resident for 10 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.
She is survived by three sons, Darin Scroggins and Darvez Scroggins , both of Las Vegas, and DeMarco Scroggins of Illinois; one daughter, Dameion Watkins of Illinois; her mother, Helen Scott, and two brothers, Roger Wright and Antoine Scroggins , all of Virginia; and three sisters, Carolyn Farmer of Illinois, Lisa Scroggins of Virginia and Alicia Scott of Tennessee; and 11 grandchildren.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.
