Graveside services for Larry F. “Buck†Crawford, 89, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Shofner Cemetery with Brother Tommy Adams officiating. Buck was born November 9, 1922 in Huntington, Texas to the late Willie (Scroggins) and Lee Rockmore Crawford. He died Friday, November 18, 2011 in a Lufkin hospital. Buck served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and was a Warrant Officer-1st Sergeant in the Texas National Guard for thirteen years. He operated Two Point Shell in Lufkin for many years. Buck is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Crawford of Lufkin; his children and their spouses, Lou Anne and Martin Cochran, Pete Crawford, Laura Lee and Terry Coffman, Jack and Susie Jordan, Jesse Graves, and Kay Jordan; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and his faithful companion, “Maggie.†In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ford Crawford, and granddaughter, Amy Cochran. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church of your choice or to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 West Frank Ave., Lufkin, Texas 75904.
