Matthew David Scroggins, 40, passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2011 in Minneapolis. Minnesota due to injuries sustained in a car accident.
Matt was born August 17, 1970 in Gainesville, Florida to Patricia Rose Urquhart and Horace Paul Scroggins. He grew up in Williston, Florida and attended Williston High School. Most recently, Matt was living in McIntosh, South Dakota and was working in Williston, North Dakota for a television production company. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.
He leaves behind his father, Horace Paul Scroggins: his brother, Paul "Eddie" Scroggins; and his son, Logan Matthew Scroggins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rose Cox; his mother, Patricia Rose Urquhart: and his brother, Johnny Chaffin.
Matt was a loving son and father and will be missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 10:00 am, at Knauff Funeral Home in Williston, Florida with Elwood Baker officiating.
