Robert Daniel Scroggins, age 81, of Morrilton, passed away, October 27, 2010. He was born September 23, 1929 in Morrilton, a son of Mitt Linzsey Scroggins and Mary Ellen McCuin Scroggins. He was the widower of Zella Mae Watkins Scroggins [43821]. Mr. Scroggins was a medic and served in the Army during the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his brothers, James Linzsey Scroggins [] of Michigan; Harold Franklin Scroggins [] of Center Ridge, and Benny Scroggins [] of Benton.

Ramona Sue Colvard, 69, of Springfield, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 in Springfield, Mo. She was born February 22, 1941, in Springfield.
She graduated from Morrisville High School. She was united in marriage to Robert Nelson Colvard [7094] in May, 1959, in Morrisville, Mo. She was a homemaker and was a member of Fremont Baptist Church (previously Victory Baptist Church, Willcox, Ariz.)
She was a music director, member of WMU, and a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed sewing, singing at Church, being with family, gardening and going to flea markets.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Don [7087] and Viola [7091] Scroggins. She is survived by husband, Robert N. Colvard; children, Bobby Don Colvard [] and Tammy Robin Lance Colvard [] and Celia; grandchildren, Lance Colvard, Timothy Colvard, Casondra Colvard Millard; great-grandchildren, Alisha Colvard, and Tiffany Colvard; and siblings, Don Scroggins [7093] and Jan Carson []; Donald Scroggins [] and Helen []; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at 10 a.m., in Fremont Baptist Church, 2517 N. Fremont Ave, Springfield, Mo. Burial will follow in Slagle. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.

ODESSA Helen Owens Freels beloved mother, "Nana," sister and friend went home to be with our Lord and savior on Friday, October 22, 2010, at the age of 67.
Helen "Nana" was a gentle, kind and loving person who will be dearly missed by all those who where blessed to know her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman Edwards and Ruby and Buddy Scroggins; and her beloved pet of 13 years, J.J.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Stanley Wayne Freels and wife Tammy Tillman of Springtown, TX; and Chris Freels of Paradise, TX; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Freels of Odessa, TX, Ashlyn Freels and Shalon Tillman of Springtown, TX; two sisters, Sandra Emerson and husband Warren of Farmington, N.M. and Kathy Smith of Odessa, TX; two brothers, Richard Edwards of Beaumont, CA., and Wayne Scroggins and wife Brenda of Marshall, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; second mom, Linda Ford of Houston, TX; very dear friends, Charlie and Diane Herron of Odessa, TX; and many other dear friends.

Robert Carl Dickey, 73, of Springfield, formerly of Decatur, iL, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
He was born on August 20, 1937 in Decatur, IL the son of the lateJesse Lee and Edna Mae (Armentrout) Dickey.
Mr. Dickey worked as a caregiver at Lincoln State School in Lincoln, IL and also worked at Clark Restaurant.
He is survived by a sister, Phyllis Barrigear of Lincoln, IL, 2 nieces, Tammy (husband Terry) Chance and Linda Turley, both of Decatur, and 2 nephews Willis Leon Dickey, Jr. of Decatur and Virgil W. Barrigear, Jr. of Lincoln.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Willis L. Dickey and a sister, Ramona Scroggins [36359].
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield, IL 62703.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 5:30 pm at the Senior Services Center in Springfield.

Mrs. Scroggins was preceded in death by her daughter, Mrs. Pamela Toler.

SCROGGINS, Jason Neal, age 37 of Hillsboro, Tennessee passed away on October 2, 2010. Jason was born on July 25, 1973 in Athens, Alabama and was a carpenter in residential house construction. He was preceded in death by his mother, the late Linda Diane Scroggins who passed away in November 2008. He will be fondly remembered as an avid Alabama Football Fan who also enjoyed fishing and swimming with his children. He is survived by his loving wife of twelve years, Christi Diane Nabors Scroggins of Hillsboro, TN; two loving children, Levi Scroggins, age 10, and Danna Scroggins, age 9, both of Hillsboro, TN; father, Dwight Scroggins of Athens, Alabama; brothers, Stanley Scroggins and Anthony Scroggins both of Athens, AL; parents-in-law, Stanley and Judy Nabors of Hillsboro, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.
