Wayne Scroggins 32, Salina, died Saturday, Aug., 28. He was born on March 14, 1978, at Pryor, the son of Junior and Kathy Scroggins. He married Lura Lee on Dec. 22, 1995, at Miami. He was an avid hunter who especially enjoyed deer hunting. He also enjoyed working on motors. He loved his family and will be so very missed by his family and his many friends.
Survivors include his wife, Lura, of the home; two daughters, Courtney and Harley Scroggins also of the home; parents, Junior and Kathy Scroggins of Salina; sister, Katrina Morton and husband Brandon of Coweta; mother and father-in-law, Stanley and Ronda Lee of Pryor; uncle, Darrell Sitsler of Salina; niece and nephew, Sydney and Cruz Morton of Coweta; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are Wednesday, Sept.1, 2 p.m., in the First Baptist Church of Salina, with Tommy Parker officiating. Casket bearers will include Chris White, Will Sizemore, Clyde Still, Ray Davis, Derrick Davis, D. J. Sitsler, Matt Cortese, and Shane Ray. Honorary casket bearers will include Justin Pritchett, Johnny Still and Randy Chuckluck. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
