Hamilton H. Hymon, 54, Topeka, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2009 at Midland Hospice House. Hamilton was born April 24, 1955 in Leland, MS, the son of Isaiah and Magnolia (Hampton) Hymon. He moved to Topeka with his family in 1959. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1974. He received his Certificate in Printing from Kaw Area Vocational Technical School. He was employed with Adams Business Forms and Cardinal Brands for 27 years. He later worked for Durham School Bus Service. He was a member and past president of the Graphic Communication International Union #560S, and the Topeka Travelers Bowlers Association. Hamilton married Ginger Lane on April 22, 1978 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include sons, William J. Hymon, Robert D. Hymon, David A. Scroggins []; brother, John B. Hymon and wife Johnnetta; sisters, Dora Mae Lafleur and husband, Jean, and Nannette Hymon, all of Topeka, and Brenda Kay Guliford, Hampton, VA. Also, two God children, Stephan and Michelle Perkins, step brothers, step sisters, cousins, Uncles, Aunts, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Noble A. Bradley. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009 at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Hamilton will lie in state at Dove Funeral Home, 4020 SW 6th after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and visitation with family will be from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas, 66606 or Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, 2420 SE Bellview, Topeka, Kansas 66605.
