SCROGGINS, Haley Nichole, 14, precious daughter of Jason and Tammy Scroggins, resident of Prattville, AL, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 28, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., from the Prattville Community Church, with Brother Dave Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. At the time of her death, Haley was an 8th Grade Student at Prattville Junior High where she was the Student Government Representative for her class. She also loved sports and was an enthusiastic player with the Prattville Girl's Softball League. In addition to her school activities, Haley gave generously of her time and talent to the Prattville Community Church Youth Group. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Dewey Ray Scroggins. In addition to her loving parents, she leaves to cherish her memories, one sister, Rebecca Scroggins; one brother, Dustin Scroggins; maternal grandparents, Laura Tatum and Jackie Hall; paternal grandmother, Sarah Scroggins; two step-grandfathers, Gerald "Jerry" Bryan and Elliott Wheeler, and many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Haley will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to her service.
