Earnestine Talley McCauley

Earnestine Talley McCauley of Corsicana passed away on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, in Corsicana. She was born on Feb. 18, 1926, in Roane.She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was employed for the Montgomery County District Clerk’s Office, and later retired from the Harris County District Clerk’s Office before moving to Corsicana three years ago.Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Joyce Hale Memorial Chapel at Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Reed officiating. Committal services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Llano Cemetery in Amarillo.Mrs. McCauley was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. McCauley; son, Charles Richard McCauley; parents, Earnest L. and Bertha Talley; brothers, Therrell and James Talley; and sisters, Maurine Washam, Lurlean Richards, Pauline Ely, and Mary Hutson.She is survived by her sisters, Faye Bailey of Amarillo and Willie Pamela Scroggins of Ruidoso, N.M.; grandsons, Josh McCauley of Amarillo and Austin McCauley of Macksville, Kan.; granddaughter; Sierra McCauley of Macksville, Kan.; sister-in-law, Betty Talley of Corsicana; and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial contributions may be made to the Northside Baptist Church Building Fund at 2800 N.
