FORT WORTH -- Ruby Pridgeon, 78, died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, in Fort Worth.

Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday at Rehoboth Cemetery in Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.

Ruby was born March 21, 1930, in Mansfield. She was a manager for the Arlington Baptist College cafeteria for many years. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Lee Pridgeon.

Survivors: Son, David Pridgeon and wife, Mary Jo; daughter, Diana Scroggins and husband, Bill; grandson, Ryan Scroggins and wife, Ashley; and sisters, Mamie Smith and Clara Giles.
