Message: Mary Ann Trevino Mary Ann Trevino SAN ANTONIO, TX. - Mary Ann Trevino, 58, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at her residence in San Antonio. She is preceded in death by her parents, Aloys and Gertie Gunderman; sister, Neva Jo Bratton. Mary Ann was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and Desert Storm War, retired and was Honorably Discharge from the United States Air Force. She was also a Sunday school teacher for the past 16 years while serving in the armed forces. She was a past member of the Assumption Catholic Church in Harlingen, Texas, where she was C.C.E. Coordinator Director. She was a member of the Enrichment Program for the Catholic Parish in the U.K. Europe. She was awarded the Angel Volunteer Award for her service at Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Michigan. Mrs. Trevino is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Juan G. Trevino; her children, Eloy Trevino, and Marianela Sheldon; 4 grandchildren, Jacob Trevino, Mauricio Trevino, Alison Marie Sheldon and Holly Beth Sheldon; 2 sisters, Rita Carte and Linda Scroggins; 2 brothers, Clarence Gunderman, Charles Glen Watson, and other relatives. Visitation will be held today, Sunday, May 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Rio Hondo. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. Military Honors will conduct at the graveside by the American Legion Post #205 and V.F.W. Post #2410 of Harlingen and San Benito.
