GreenvilleCharles Alonzo Owens, 62, of 321 Creekside Drive, widower of Geraldine Scroggins Owens, died Friday, June 18, 1999.
Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late William Lawrence and Lois Ruth Owens.
Survivors: daughters, Teresa Robinson and Tony Cowart, both of Greenville and Lois Barley of Richland, Ga. a son, Charles A. Owens, Jr., of Charleston a brother, Robert Owens a sister, Sereath Owens ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. today at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home in Pickens. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
