Notice for Addie Irene "Mamoo" Ford
Message: [16923] Addie Irene "Mamoo" Ford ATHENS - Services for Addie Irene Ford "Mamoo," 89, Athens, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens, with the Rev. John Green officiating. Burial will be in Wear Cemetery, Henderson County. Mrs. Ford died Feb. 19, 2008, in an Athens hospital. She was born Oct. 29, 1918, in Kemp to the late James Gus and Annie Laura Scroggins Hice. She was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Ford. Survivors include her son, Jerry D. Ford, Cross Roads; daughters, Patricia Kirksey, Malakoff, Linda Mingus, Athens, Glenda Delli, Amarillo, and Rachel Dotson, Tyler; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15186, Austin, 78761.
