PENDLETON - Dorothy F. Scroggin, 92, of Pendleton, who had 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren, died at home on June 2, 2007.


A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7, at Bishop Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Olney Cemetery.


Mrs. Scroggin was born in Creston, Wash., on July 1, 1914, to Samuel Roy and Ora A. Woods. She attended schools in Ukiah and Conconully, Wash.


On Aug. 25, 1919, she married Harland C. Partridge in Okanogan, Wash. They were married for 50 years. They lived in Okanogan, Pilot Rock, Bend and Huntington.


She married Watt C. Scroggin of Pendleton on Nov. 15, 1985, in Payette, Idaho.


She was a member of the Beta Sigma Fi sorority and Home Extension, and the Dirt Dabblers garden Club. She was active with the Daughters of The Nile. Her hobby was making quilts and afghans for her children and grandchildren.


Survivors include son Don Partridge of the Philippines; daughter Darleen Graves of Huntington; brothers Don Woods of Pateros, Wash., and Arthur Woods of Escondido, Calif; sister Delores Woods of Pensacola, Fla.; and half-brother Edmond Scroggins of The Dalles; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harland Partridge, and brothers Frank Woods, Melvin Woods, Paul Kemp and Leonard Kemp.
