RUTH BARTZ
Services for Ruth A. BARTZ, 94, was Oct. 16, 2006, at the Fairview
Funearl Home Inc., Chapel in Fairview, OK. Burial was in the Fairview
Cemetery. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home..
Ruth was born Aug. 19, 1912, in Munger, TX to Elijah & Maude Eugene
(HANCOCK) DUKE & passed away Oct. 11, 2006, at the Fairview Fellowship
Home, Fairview, OK.
Ruth graduated from Forest Glade, TX high school. She married Walter
Arthur BARTZ on June 7, 1930 in Odem, TX. They had 2 sons & 2 daughters.
She worked as an airplane mechanic during World War II.
She is survivied by sons, Arthur Gene BARTZ of Garland, TX, Robert BARTZ &
wife, Estelle of Waco; daughter Beverly Ann MORAWSKI & husband, Robert
Wayne of Fairview; brother, Gene STEEL & wife Sally of Groesbeck, TX; 2
sisters, Jewel SCROGGINS of Lexington, KY & Helen PETERS of Mich; 6
grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daugther Mary Elizabeth
BARTZ; 6 brothers & 2 sisters.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Fairview Funeral
HOme as custodians.
