Thomas Elwood Queen Jr.
Thomas Elwood Queen, Jr., affectionately known as ""T.J.'', was born on August 9, 1982 in New Orleans, LA. He died on May 15, 2006 in Baton Rouge, LA. ""T.J'' was a talented artist, who had been a member of Boy Scouts of America, Livingston Boys Club and an instructor of Blue Lion Karate Club under Master O'Neal in New Orleans. ""T.J'' served as an alter server at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He graduated from Marian Abramson High School. Shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he graduated from Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA. After his discharge from the Marines, he later joined the New Orleans Police Department Training Academy. After a brief tour of duty during Hurricane Katrina, he relocated to Baton Rouge. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving parents, Thomas and Vivian Piper Queen, Horn Lake, MS; a step-brother and sister-in-law Chris (Orietta) Queen, Silver Springs, Maryland; special devoted friend, Elizabeth Hughes; one niece, Amanda Queen, one nephew, Miguel Queen; aunts and uncles including, Mary Louise Queen, LaPlata, Maryland; Patricia (Kenny) Curtis, Landover, Maryland; Judy Lee, LaPlata, Maryland; Calvin (Richie) Queen, Clinton, Maryland; James Queen, Michael Scroggins, LaPLata Maryland; Rev. James (Joyce) Piper, Plaquemine, Louisiana; Charles (Lucille) Piper, Gulfport, Mississippi; Attie (Larry) Osborne, Bayou Goula, Louisiana; Carrie (Louis) Germany, David (Mary) Piper, and Cheryl S. Piper, all of Plaquemine, Louisiana; Richard (Myrtis) Piper, Donald (Audrey) Piper and Linda (Michael) Brown, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and numerous cousins and friends. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Agnes and James Queen; maternal grandparents, James and Earline Piper; uncles, Scotty and Lawrence Queen, and Jerome Piper.
