To Honor the Memory of
Mr. James G. "Jim" O'Nan

Mr. James G. O'Nan, age 63, of 302 Green Road, Madison, Indiana entered this life on August 19, 1942, in Madison, Indiana, the son of Thurman Pierce & Anita Lucille Cole O'Nan, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Madison High School. He was inducted into the United States Navy serving for four years when he was honorably discharged. He was united in marriage in January 1968, to Evelyn Dunlap and to this union arrived two daughters to bless their home. He was employed for 43 years with Reliance Electric Company in Madison, retiring from the maintenance department. He was later united in marriage to Patricia Ann Taylor on July 3, 1986 in Carrollton, Kentucky. He enjoyed playing Golf, Camping especially at a 1000 Trails Indian Lakes in Batesville, his USSR Truck, U of L Basketball, NASCAR especially driver Tony Stewart and his family. He was a member of the North Madison Baptist Church. Jim died on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at 3:15 pm at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

A LOVING FAMILY
Jim will be missed by his wife: Patricia Ann Taylor O'Nan of Madison, Indiana; his daughters: Tanya R. O'Nan of Madison, Indiana & Traci Y. Scroggins & her husband: Brian of High Point, North Carolina; his step son: Nathan D. Skirvin & his wife: Katrina of Cloverdale, Indiana; his sisters: Linda Davis & her husband: Ralph of Madison, Indiana; Sharon Eaglin & her husband: Karl of Madison, Indiana; his brother: Don O'Nan & his wife: Jackie of Barlett, Tennessee; 2-grandchildren: Peyton Olivia & Jackson Thomas Scroggins; one step great granddaughter: Ashley Reed; several nieces, nephews & other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Thurman Pierce & Anita Lucille Cole O'Nan; his sister: Judith King O'Nan; his nephew: Jason Trent Davis.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 1:00 pm, by Rev. Frank McGee, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive, Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, Madison, Indiana, with full miltiary honor's conducted at the graveside by Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion.

VISITATION
Friends may call Tuesday, from 4-8 pm & Wednesday 11am-1 pm at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.

MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Leukemia Society. Cards are available at the funeral home.
