PATRICIA MAE DUNCAN-SCROGGINS
ROSE, Okla. - Funeral services for Patricia Mae Duncan-Scroggins, 70, of Rose, Okla., will be held Friday, October 25, 2002 at 2 p.m. in the Lowery Free Will Baptist Church in Twin Oaks, Okla. Rev. Lance Rogers and Rev. Utah Humphrey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Elm Cemetery in Leach, Okla. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home of Locust Grove, Okla.
Patricia was born December 30, 1931 in Kenwood, Okla., and passed away October 22 at her home in Rose.
She was the daughter of Clyde and Leona (Burgess) Odle. She grew up in and around the Kenwood and Kansas, Okla., area. She attended school in Kansas, Okla., graduating in 1950. She married Bobby Ray Duncan in 1951. After living in Tulsa, Okla., for a short time, they returned to the Leach area where they settled to make their home and raise a family. After the death of Mr. Duncan in 1979, she married Loyd Scroggins on August 14, 1999, making their home in the Rose area.
Patricia loved being with family and friends. One of her favorite things was to prepare meals for them. She enjoyed quilting and doing needlework in her spare time. She could also be found working in her garden, enjoying nature. She loved to travel on tour buses.
Patricia was a Christian and attended Lowery Free Will Baptist Church since she was a young girl. She liked studying her Bible. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all that shared her life.
Survivors include: her husband, Loyd Scroggins, of the home; one son, Leon and Debbie Duncan of Berryville, Ark.; two stepsons, Wendell and Pat Scroggins of Modesto, Calif., and Olen and Hedi Scroggins of Ceres, Calif.; two daughters, Debbie and Danny Foster of Leach, and Susan and Mitch Crittenden of Leach; one stepdaughter, Glenda and James Gunn of Modesto, Calif.; five brothers, Ervin Odle of Catoosa, Okla., Tommy Gene Odle of Kansas, Okla., W.M. Odle of Tulsa, J.P. Odle of Kansas, Okla., and John Odle of Kansas, Okla.; one sister, Jane Judkins of Ft. Smith, Ark.; 16 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Her parents and two brothers, Jackie Wayne and Clarence Odle preceded her in death, along with her first husband, Bobby Ray Duncan.
