DECATUR -- Cecil Ivan Scroggins [32207], 76, of Decatur died 9:10 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 21, 2002) in his home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home
with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Memorials: Heartland Community Church.
Mr. Scroggins was born Aug. 21, 1925, in Decatur, the son of James
Aaron [35837] and Harriet Louise Hall [35838] Scroggins. He was a retired Teamsters truck driver. He was a member of Teamsters Local 279 and Heartland Community Church. He married Menervia Pauline Scroggins [35839] Dec. 17, 1945, in Decatur.
Surviving are his wife; children, Cecil Wayne Scroggins [35860] and wife Kay [35861];
Harry Earl Scroggins [35862] and wife Angela [35863]; James Airon Scroggins [35964, fb] and wife Julie [35865, fb]; Tommy Dale Scroggins [35866, fb] and wife Melody [35867, fb]; Petsula Darlene Webb [35868, fb] and husband Steve [35869]; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, 11 brothers and
sisters, son, Robert [35870], and three great-grandchildren.
