Martha Delena Scroggins, 88, of Bartlesville, died Sunday at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Bartlesville.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester with Rex Milford officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home of Bartlesville. The family will receive guests after the service at 221 Finch Street in McAlester.
Born March 5, 1907 in Pittsburg County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Burchfield) Parker. She was raised and recieved her education in the Pittsburg County area. She married Lee "Pete" Scroggins on June 28, 1922 in Pittsburg County and they made their home here where he was active in the farming industry. She was employed as the office manager of the Kiowa Phone Company. She had lived in Arlington, Texas until 1974 when she moved to Bartlesville.
She was a member of the Adams Boulevard Church of Christ in Bartlesville.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Tommy (Gene Lee) Wright, Center, Texas, Mrs. Delbert (Sally) McKinney of Bartlesville, and Dianne Readnour of Enid; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Donald Glenn (Buddy) Scroggins; a grandson; a sister and four brothers.
