Charlene Scroggins Littlejohn, 84, of Colusa passed away December 15, 2016, at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California.
Charlene was born on September 2, 1932, in Colusa, California to Charles and Jolene Hart, who preceded her in death. Charlene was also preceded in death by D.C. (Dave) Scroggins. She married Dave at 22 years old, her husband of 47 years. Preceded also in death was her second husband Donald William "Bill" Littlejohn. Charlene lived in Colusa County most of her adult life; she resided in San Francisco in her early childhood.
Charlene had a long professional career as a legal secretary, working for nearly 30 years with local law firms in Colusa. Charlene also served as the Chief Superior Court Clerk for the County of Colusa for over 14 years. Charlene was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Charlene is survived by sons David Charles Scroggins [41292:P] and wife Sheila Cooney Scroggins [41293:P], and Drew Alan Scroggins [41289:P] and wife Peggy Jean Scroggins, both of Colusa. Surviving grandchildren are Peter Neil Mayberry, Valerie Eles Burke [5178:P], Vanessa Hart Belair [51578:P], Charles Bradley Scrogginsn[51577:P], Justin Alan Scroggins [41295:P] and Jeannie Ann Scroggins [41296:P]; she also has 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 22nd, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 345 Oak Street, Colusa, California. Private family committal service will follow at the College City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Charlene's name to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
