He is preceded in death by his parents, Sanford and Emma Lou Scroggins; son, Benji Scroggins [tba]; granddaughter, Kayla Pirkle [tba] and brothers, Danny [tba, FaG:104744365], David [tba, FaG:104744403], Bobby [tba], and Ronnie [32599, fb] Scroggins
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rebecca Scroggins [49475, fb]; children, Justin Sanford Scroggins [49474, fb], Candece Prime [tba, fb], Turalee Hernandez [tba]; stepdaughter, Elaine Pirkle; brothers and sisters, Ralph Scroggins [52510], Mary Ann Gay [tba], Carylon Koonce [tba], Becky Ray [tba, fb], Linda McAdams [tba]; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Day and Rev. Bacle Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
