Everett L. Scroggins, 81, of Battle Creek, died November 10, 2015 at Bronson Battle Creek. Everett was born April 29, 1934 in Decatur, TN to Joseph and Lucy (Pelfrey) Scroggins. Everett worked as a roofer for Sheriff Goslin Roofing and also worked for Corning Glass.
Everett liked to watch WWE Wrestling and the Detroit Lions. He also enjoyed playing games on his phone.
Everett is survived by his daughter, Sharon M. (Wayne) White of Battle Creek; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Ollian Scroggins and James Scroggins. Everett loved his Centra Care family and friends and also his caregivers at Pennfield Premier Living.
Everett was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty, in 2010, three sons, Terry Scroggins [FaG:13452276], James Scroggins [FaG:13452275] and David Scroggins and a stepdaughter, Kathy Brummels.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where funeral services to celebrate Everett's life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 14, officiated by Rev.
