The graveside service for Mr. Kenneth C. Scroggins, 72, of Enid will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2014 in the Enid Cemetery. Reverend Gary Miller will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. He was born on September 23, 1942 to Carmon [38215:P] and Verna Hazel [38213:P] Scroggins in Eldorado, TX and passed away on January 21, 2015 He was raised in Borger, TX. He graduated from Phillips High School in 1961. He served four years in The United States Air Force. He married Marie Ashmoore [53862:P] in 1970 in Borger. He worked for the Borger Fire Department and in construction. He and Marie travled various places in Texas for Marie's job. They moved to Oklahoma City where he worked for a security force until he was medically unable. They moved to Enid, OK in 2000. He is survived by his wife, Marie of Enid, OK; son, Richard Scroggins [38220:P] of Texas; brothers; Ronnie [38221:P, fb]* and wife, Sue Scroggins [38222:P, fb] of Fritch, TX and Jim [38455:P] and wife, Diane [38456:P] Scroggins of Borger, TX; sisters, Joyce [38232:P] and husband Larry [38233:P] Green of San Angelo, TX and Rose Seals [38217:P, fb] of Andrew, TX. He was preceded in death by his mother, Verna [38213:P] and father, Carmon [38215:P] Scroggins; brothers, Paul [38212:P] and Carl [38236:P] Scroggins.
