Mildred S. Hollis [52326], age 99 of Mesquite, TX, and formerly of Royse City, passed away April 2, 2014. She was born October 12, 1914 in Greenville, TX, to William Oliver Scroggins [52333] and Mamie (Coppinger) [52313] Scroggins. Mrs. Hollis was a homemaker, a mother, and a loving wife of 66 years to her husband Paul. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Royse City.
Mrs. Hollis is survived by her son: Roy Hollis [] of Garland, TX; three daughters: Louise McCullough [] of Elmo, TX, Joy Evans [] of Mesquite, TX, and Mitzi Wind [] of Jacksonville, FL; and her many blessings, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Leroy Hollis [].
Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 9:00am to 1:00pm
