Johnny Ray Scroggins, age 53, of Akron, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Akron General Hospital.
He was born March 6, 1961 in San Pedro, California to the late Joe Ben [43773] and Christina Mae [34209] Scroggins.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe [42189]; his sister, Jackie [46394]; and grandchildren, Lia, Bentley, and Ayana Scroggins. He is survived by his children, Johnny, Brian, and Stacy Scroggins; granddaughters, Hailie and Marlee Scroggins; sister, Joyce Hogue [46395]; and brothers, Jerry [46392] and Jamey [46393] Scroggins; very close friends, Daniel Burch, Melissa Hargrove, and George Wallace.
A Memorial Service will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 811 Grant St. in Akron, where friends and family may call one hour prior to the service. Visit http://www.dunn-quigley.com/ to share memories and condolences.
