SENECA, Mo. — Christina Ann "Tina" Wilson Nolin [52797:K, fb] passed away March 25, 2014, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Mo., after a long, brave battle with cancer.
Tina was born March 2, 1963, in Inglewood, Calif., to Paul E. Wilson [21762:K] and Barbara A. Scroggin [21761:K, fb] Wilson.
She married Kevin Nolin [:K] on Sept. 11, 2004, in Joplin.
Tina is survived by her husband, Kevin [, fb] and their four children, Shanell [, fb] and Eric [, fb] Bradshaw and Stefani [, fb] and Justin [] Burris, all of Seneca, William [] and Angela [] Nolin, Seneca, and Josh [, fb] and Nikki [] Jackson, Joplin; nine grandchildren, Sidnee [] and Montana [] Bradshaw, Ryker Burris [] , Jared [], Destiny [, fb], Sierra [], Hailey [] and Katrina [] Nolin and Raven [] Jackson. She is also survived by her mother, Barbara A Wilson [21761:K, fb], Nevada, Mo.; and a brother, Chris Wilson [], Arnold, Mo. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul E. Wilson [21762:K]; her grandparents; and her beloved cousin, Carl Henry Wilson, of Cleveland, Okla.
Tina attended Nevada schools and was a 1981 graduate of Nevada High School. She attended nursing school in Nevada, and worked at Nevada Regional Medical Center, Heartland Behavioral Health Center, both in Nevada, and the Hawthorne Center of St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, where she retired in 2006. Tina was a member of the Destiny Church in Webb City, Mo., and was an active volunteer with the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary. Private interment will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary, of Joplin.
