Michael "Mike" Steven Scroggins, 55 of Pendleton, died on Jan. 14, 2014 in Pendleton. He was born on Nov. 15, 1958 in Covington, VA to Russell and Shirley Bush Scroggins.
He is survived by his parents Russell [38993] and Shirley Bush [38994] Scroggins of Madison, Ind., his wife of 19 years Dawn Bayer Scroggins [38992, fb] of Pendleton, his children; Michael Steven Scroggins II [50051] of Pendleton, Ind., Ryan Russell Scroggins [38976] of Vanderbilt, Mich., and Sierra Brooke Scroggins [51553, fb] of Pendleton, Ky.; and a sister Anita O'Neal [52787, fb] of Madison, Ind.
Services for Mike were held Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Rykers Ridge Baptist Church in Madison, Ind., with Reverend Daniel Lowry officiating the services. Burial was in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Madison, with the United States Marines and the American Legion Post #9 of Madison presenting military honors.

Michael “Mike” Steven Scroggins, 55 of Pendleton, KY passed away on January 14, 2014 in Pendleton, KY. He was born on November 15, 1958 in Covington, VA to Russell [38993] and Shirley Bush [38994] Scroggins.
Mike was a 1977 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He served his country during the Gulf War in the United States Marines. He was previously employed at IKE. Mike was currently employed at Safety Kleen. He attended services at the New Castle First Baptist Church where he served his Lord faithfully and enjoyed studying his bible. Mike had a love for life and enjoyed fishing, playing golf, hunting, photography and drawing pictures.
He leaves to mourn his passing; his beloved parents Russell and Shirley Bush Scroggins of Madison, IN, his loving wife of 19 years Dawn Bayer Scroggins [38993, fb] of Pendleton, KY, his children; Michael Steven Scroggins II [50051] of Pendleton, IN, Ryan Russell Scroggins [38976, fb] and his wife Erin [38986, fb] of Vanderbilt, MI and Sierra Brooke Scroggins [51533, fb] of Pendleton, KY. His beloved grandchildren; Ashlyn Elizabeth Belle Scroggins [52784], Camden Russell Scroggins [52785] and Braden Peter Scroggins [52786]. His sister Anita O’Neal [52787, fb] and her husband Brent [] of Madison, IN, his nieces; Krista O’Neal Molina [, fb], Katie O’Neal [, fb] and many other family and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.
