Juanita Virginia Scroggin, age of 84, formally of Edmore passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Hilltop Manor in Roscommon, Michigan. Juanita was born on June 26, 1928 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Perry and Cynthia (Pirson) Lewis.
In 1971 she married her husband James L. Scroggin. As a homemaker Juanita enjoyed crocheting, fishing dancing and country music.
Juanita is survived by her husband, James; their children: Wanda (Gary) Villet of Blanchard, Elizabeth E. Garrett of Edmore, Mark (Carolyn) Jacobs of Edmore, Rodney W. Jacobs of Idaho, James [48805] (Judy [41663, fb]) Scroggin of St. Helen and Darrell [. fb] (Marilyn [, fb]) Scroggin of Homer.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; Perry and Cynthia; and her brothers: Edward, Hosea, Luther, Dub and Malcomb and her sisters: Amanda, Molly, Alice and Beatrice.
Funeral services for Juanita will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Brigham Funeral Chapel at Six Lakes with Pastor Robert Cairns officiating. The visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (2 hours prior to the service). Interment will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Six Lakes.
Memorial donations in honor of Juanita may be made payable to: Hilltop Manor in Roscommon in Michigan.
