Thelma Reva Scroggins was born January 9, 1927, at Braymer, Missouri, a daughter of Glen and Lula Mae (Singleton) Litton.
She died June 27, 2012, at Fayetteville, Ark. at the age of 85.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Holt Memorial Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be Monday, July 2 at the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Brother Claud Williams will officiate. Pallbearers are James House, Jim House, Justin House, Todd House, Mike Ruble, and Dale Swindler. Honorary Pallbearers are Dave and Kim Moore, Baylie House, Kortnie House, Logan House, Hadley House, Taylor Swope, Rielly Dobbs, Wilma Cook, and Steve and Debbie Dobbs.

Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, MO on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 2:30 p.m.

She married the love of her life, Lester Scroggins, May 19, 1945, and they spent 60 happy years together. She was a devoted GM employee in Overland Park, Kan., retiring with 42 years of service as secretary to the manager.

Thelma was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends and always made sure that everything was perfect for these occasions.

Her husband, Lester Scroggins; a brother, Randall Litton; a niece, Joyce Ruble; and her parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are her best friend and shopping buddy, Kaye House; nieces, Virginia Tippit, Betty House, and Sue Creech; great nephews, Jim House, Mike Ruble, and J.C. Hudson; and great nieces, Pat Hurd, Judy McKinnon, Janet Keck, and Becky Davidson; and other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her.
