Eula Rozell Scroggins


Eula Rozell Scroggins, age 95, of Springfield, formerly of Chadwick, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 in The Baptist Home. She was born July 14, 1915 in Oldfield, the daughter of John Thomas and Bethenia (Burkhart) Hull. In 1937 she and Vern Rozell were united in marriage.

Following his death in 1969, Eula stepped in to serve as Chadwick Post Master.
She later married Glen Scroggins [7490], and moved to Springfield. She enjoyed traveling, and spending winters in Texas and Arizona. He also preceded her in death.

Eula was a member of Chadwick Baptist Church and later Orchard Crest Baptist Church in Springfield.

Survivors include: Two sons, Gary Rozell and wife, Ann, Sparta, and Glen Bob Rozell and wife Nadine, Wildwood, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Jackie Rozell, Branson; six grandchildren, Tammy Johnson (Steve), Jill Ulrich (Ross), Melissa Rozell, Melanie Rozell Horstman (Mark), Dr. Kimberly Craven (Lester), and Marnie Moore (Mark); and eleven great-grandchildren.

Along with her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Ben Rozell, two brothers, Ervin and Leonard Hull, a sister, Clara Rodman, and her parents.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Monday (Today), November 22, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Rev. Jerry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Chadwick Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until service time on Monday.
