Pearlie Deborah Glover
Pearlie Deborah Scroggins Glover, 93 years of age, of Marshall, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. She was born Dec. 25, 1916, to John Henry Sr. [41143:&] and Luvinera [41144:&] Scroggins in Keithville, La. She was the fourth of five siblings and is preceded in death by her parents and three siblings Irene [41145:&], Booker T. [41142:&] and Alonia [41146:&]. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Theartis Neal. Pearlie was united in holy matrimony to Lewis Glover Jr. [] and was blessed with 16 children. Her husband and six children preceded her in death: Simmie D., Raymond, Jimmy, Mary Nell, Louis Lee and Juanita. She leaves to cherish her memory six daughters, Bertha Sims, Mae Ola Rabb, Loretha Glover, Addie Faye Glover, Patricia Anderson and Yvonne Thompson; four sons, Willie D. Glover (Helen), Thomas Glover Sr., Willie Melvin Glover and Christopher Glover; one brother, John Scroggins, Jr. []; and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Wake services will be held Friday, March 5, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Galilee Baptist Church located at 1414 Elysian Fields Ave., Marshall, Tx. 75670. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 1 p.m. also at Galilee Baptist Church, Pastor Theartis Neal, officiating. Interment will be at Powder Mill Cemetery in Marshall. Services have been entrusted to Thrash Funeral Chapel, 150 Bellaire Blvd., Lewisville, Tx. 75067, Charles Eugene Thrash, Director. Thrash Funeral Chapel
