Cora M. HambyServices for Cora M. Hamby, 90, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey and Foster Chapel with Bro. M.T. Blackmon and Bro. Michael Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Antrim Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey and Foster.Mrs. Hamby passed away Sunday at her residence. She was born April 6, 1919 in Anderson County, to Timothy and Rachel Cross Lawson. She was a homemaker and a member of Memorial Baptist Church.Mrs. Hamby was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman Lee Hamby, sisters; Elender Munsinger, Flora Thompson and Linnie Lingo, brothers; John, Ernest and Lee Lawson. She is survived by daughters; Margaret Hazel Estrada, Eula Muriel Burrows and Rachel Marcott, son; George T. McKinney, step-daughters; Billie Kaminsky, Wanda Goff, Lavenia Starr, Doris Branson, Emma Parker, Patsy Fox and Ruby Crawford, step-sons; James Hamby, Bobby Hamby, Tom Hamby, Buster Hamby and Travis Hamby, sister Lora Boren and brother Henry Lawson, several grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Lynn Strever, Leroy Schultz Jr., Marshall Lynn Lawson, Allen Hamby, Michael McKinney and Gregg Burrows. Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Scroggins [22710], Klifton Scroggins [22711], Tommy Scroggins [22712], Wayne Marcott, Jaun Marcott and Brian Marcott.
