Glenna Mozelle Scroggins, 89, of Greenville died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, in the Hunt County Regional Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Danny Grady is officiating. Burial will be in Wieland Cemetery.Mrs. Scroggins was born Aug. 29, 1920, in Hunt County; the daughter of John and Lestie Thompson Carter. On Dec. 23, 1939, she was married to Floyd Leon Scroggins [32591] in Hunt County.She was a housewife and a member of Vansickle Baptist Church.She is survived by her sons, Billy W. Scroggins [40166] and Duwain Scroggins [40167], both of Cumby; Rhonda Scroggins [40168] of Archer City; brother Billy Carter of Greenville; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001, her parents and sister , Hazel Carter Greer.Her grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
